TTRP RACING / YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy notice

Who we are
TTRP Racing is a brand of Trading Parts UK Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16192555). We are the controller responsible for the personal information we handle for website orders, enquiries, offers and website operation. Our registered office is 19 Heathfield Rise, Rishworth, Sowerby Bridge, England, HX6 4RS. Contact us at orders@ttrpracing.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we handle
If you email us, we receive the contact details, message and any vehicle, product or order information you choose to provide. Please do not send payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information. Our hosting and email providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses and security logs, to deliver and protect their services.
PayPal checkout and orders
When you choose Buy now with PayPal, you leave our site for PayPal checkout. PayPal processes your payment under its own privacy notice. We receive order information needed to fulfil and support your purchase, including your name, contact and delivery details, the items ordered and payment status. We do not receive your full payment card details. We use this information to fulfil our contract with you and keep records required by law.
Trade enquiries
Our trade form collects your business and contact details, delivery postcode, product requirements and message. We email these details to our orders team and send you an automatic acknowledgement through our email provider, Zoho. We use a temporary form token and hashed technical identifiers to limit spam and duplicate submissions. These enquiries are used to prepare a quote and respond to you.
Welcome offers
If you request a welcome code, we use your email to send the requested offer through Zoho. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Codes expire after 30 days. We keep keyed hashes of email addresses and codes, code issue and use records, and checkout and payment references to administer the first-order offer, prevent reuse and support orders. PayPal processes payment and delivery details; we use confirmed order details to send your confirmation. Hashed technical identifiers and request times help limit abuse. Contact orders@ttrpracing.com with questions about these records.
VW / Audi parts basket
Your selected part numbers, options and quantities are stored in this browser so your basket survives a page change. No contact details are stored in that basket. Remove the items or clear site storage to delete it. When you request availability, your contact details, postcode, vehicle information and selection are sent to our team and a confirmation is emailed to you through Zoho. This is an enquiry, not a paid order or marketing subscription.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to you, check product requirements and provide order support. Where an enquiry relates to a purchase, this supports our contract with you or steps requested before a contract. We also have a legitimate interest in handling general business enquiries, maintaining secure services and keeping appropriate business records. We may retain information where required to meet legal obligations.
AI Product Assistant
When enabled, our optional AI assistant helps with products, fitting and shopping questions. It is powered by OpenAI. When you send a message, your question, the recent messages in the current chat and relevant public product information are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. External searches may be used to check fitting information. Do not send payment details, addresses or other sensitive personal information. The assistant cannot access orders, send emails, make purchases, approve returns or reserve stock.
We use this information to answer the request you make. Chat history stays in the current page memory and clears on a new chat or page reload; we do not save message transcripts in our website database. We request that API responses are not stored for later retrieval; OpenAI may retain data under its applicable service and abuse-prevention policies. A first-party session cookie lasts up to one hour and protects the chat. Hashed technical identifiers, random request identifiers and request times are retained for up to 48 hours to limit abuse and duplicate paid requests. The chat has request limits and may be temporarily unavailable. Check product fitment before buying and contact our team for a human response.
Team inboxes
Paid-order notifications and trade enquiry notifications include copies to tradingpartsuk@gmail.com. Prepared product enquiry emails also include this inbox as a copy recipient; you review and send these from your email app. Fitment email drafts are addressed directly to that inbox.
Sharing and storage
Information is handled through service providers that support our website and email, including Cloudflare for hosting, Zoho for transactional email and Google for the team Gmail inbox. Payment information is handled by PayPal. Delivery and fulfilment providers receive the name, delivery address and other details needed to deliver your order. The optional AI assistant uses OpenAI as described above. Where needed to resolve a marketplace order enquiry, relevant information may be handled through that marketplace. We do not sell enquiry information. Service providers may process information outside the UK. Contact orders@ttrpracing.com for information about the providers and processing locations relevant to your information, the transfer mechanism relied upon and how to obtain a copy of the applicable safeguards. We decide how long to retain order, payment and tax records using applicable accounting and tax obligations, and any unresolved refund, warranty or legal claim. For enquiries, we consider whether the enquiry is still active, the support needed and whether it led to an order. Welcome-offer administration records may be needed beyond code expiry to prevent repeat use. We also retain a copy of the product and policy information supplied with an order confirmation, linked to its transaction reference, to evidence the contract. The separate time limits for website statistics and assistant abuse-prevention records are stated above.
Cookies and marketplace links
Separately from optional Google measurement described below, we use limited first-party website statistics solely to understand and improve this website. A short script counts visible page views, page paths and referring website domains; it excludes query strings and known automated visitors. The server briefly uses the IP address and browser user agent to create a keyed identifier that changes each UK calendar day. Raw IP addresses and browser details are not stored in our statistics database, and daily identifiers are not attached to page histories. Daily identifiers and aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days. We do not link statistics to orders, enquiries or advertising profiles. Counts are approximate. We use our legitimate interest in improving the website for this limited processing. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. You can object at any time using the button below; the site remembers this choice in a first-party preference cookie for one year. The hosting service may use essential technology for delivery and security. If you visit Amazon, eBay or another external service, its own privacy notice and cookie settings apply.
Information needed for your request
We need sufficient contact, product and delivery details to answer an enquiry or fulfil an order. If required information is missing, we may be unable to provide a quote, deliver goods or administer the requested welcome offer. Optional vehicle information helps us check fitment. We do not use the shopping assistant to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests by emailing orders@ttrpracing.com. You can also exclude your visits from website statistics using the control above. We will consider your objection and explain any grounds for continuing processing. This does not remove records we must keep by law.
Optional Google Analytics and advertising measurement
With your permission, we load Google Analytics (property tag G-77QF5DJJ60) to understand website visits, checkout starts and confirmed purchases, and to measure advertising results. It uses browser identifiers and cookies. We do not send your name, email address or delivery address. Confirmed purchase events include a payment transaction reference, product, quantity, currency, item value, tax and delivery amount; a checkout click alone is never treated as a purchase. Google may process this information outside the UK under its applicable terms and safeguards. We disable advertising personalisation and Google signals in our website tag. Optional measurement remains off until you choose Allow measurement. Reject optional and withdrawal are available through Cookie settings in the footer. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent the tag loading. Your choice and Google cookies expire after up to six months; browser transaction references used to avoid duplicates are cleared when you clear site storage. Payment-confirmation facts are stored separately from analytics consent for payment verification and duplicate prevention; we do not send them to Google without permission. Google privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restrict its use, object to processing or request portability. Email us to make a request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if the way we handle website information changes.
